A Weekend as a Champ: the cycling Milan-San Remo

The Flower Riviera is waiting you to make you live the most exciting moments with the best cycling champs! Don’t missi this fantastic weend-end of passion of the two wheels.

Day 1: Saturday 20/03 – The “classicissima”
Arrival in the morning and time at your disposal to take advantage of the nice atmpsphere of the Riviera; in the early afternoon , you can assist to the Spring Classic. You can choose to stop long the legendary climb of the Poggio tract or along the finish line to admire the champions of the Milan -San Remo in a sporty and certainly joyful atmosphere.
Afterwards you can attend the award ceremony and visit the village of the event.
Dinner in a typical restaurant of San Remo, where you can enjoy some of the most famous dishes of the Ligurian tradition.
After dinner we suggest to try your luck in one of the halls of the  Municipal Casino. Overnight stay.

Day 2: Sunday – And now on your saddles!!
On this day we suggest you a route with a very scenic impression, you can try the new cycle path; departure from San Remo towards San Lorenzo, skirting the sea, with the possibilty of viewing beautiful landscapes. You’ll proceed for Porto Maurizio where always arm in arm with the sea you’ll reach the halfway point and then take the main road and return back to the City of Flowers.

For the most passionates ones there’s the possibilty to follow the famous climbs that characterize the Ligurian part of the Milan-San Remo, the Poggio and Cipressa tract.
Along the way, you’ll be accompanied by the sea and by it’s beautiful views, during the climbs of the two hills you can see from above the beautiful towns of the Flower Riviera.
The tract, mostly flat, finds in the “Cipressa” it’s peak with an altitude of 350mt over sea level.

A late check-out in hotel allows you to cool down after the ride and departure towards the place of origin.
