Since ancient times its absolute protagonists have been the goddess Athena - as the godmother of extra-virgin olive oil - and Dionysus - the god of wine - who are at the basis of the most genuine Mediterranean Diet.

On your journey to the discovery of Liguria's "gold", you will find a shy and rather secluded Liguria characterised by olive groves and vineyards that were tenaciously wrested from the Maritime Alps; by perched villages; by small oil mills; by picturesque carruggi - the typical narrow alleys of this region; by high bell towers; and by high mountains and deep valleys that stretch to the deep blue sea.

Its home-made pasta, famous pesto, stuffed vegetables and focacce (kind of flat bread) are well known outside our land but here you will be able to rediscover their genuine taste accompanied by our olive oil and the nectar of the Riviera. Our wines - Rossese Ormeasco, Vermentino and Pigato - have a long tradition and are produced in limited quantity. With their intense aroma and taste they are the right symbol for a land characterised by bright and lively colours.
