An Escape into Gluttony

We are ready to delight your palate with the most flavorful specialties of the Ligurian and French Riviera. Give yourselves a trip through colors, flavors and the most authentic aromas of the two legendary Rivieras.

Arrival in the afternoon with check-in at your chosen hotel. For your dinner we have reserved a table at one of the most prestigious restaurants of the Place, where you will taste the aromas and flavours of the Ligurian cuisine. After dinner we suggest you try your luck at the San Remo Casino. Return to the hotel, overnight stay.

Transfer to Nice in the morning, where you can visit the Lascaris Palace, built in 1648 in Genovese Baroque style by the Lascaris-Ventimille family, with a beautiful façade consisting of balconies and balustrades decorated with flower wreaths. Not to miss, during your visit in Nice, the famous Promenade des Anglais, the Place Massena and Saleya boulevard with its typical bistros. Lunch break in a typical spot for a dejeuner gourmand with local specialties. In the afternoon we invite you to pay a visit to the Confiserie Florian to discover the production of southern France specialties: you will witness the transformation of fruits and flowers into true sweet gourmet treats, as well as the production of  chocolates and Provencal perfumed candies. Return to the hotel, dinner and overnight stay.

Transfer to Imperia in the morning to visit the Museo dell’Olivo (Museum of the Olive) belonging to the Carli Brothers Company. It’s a building  unique both for its originality and its content, that celebrates the symbolic and cultural value of the most ancient tree cultivated by man. Proceeding through six thousand years of history of the Mediterranean civilizations,  typical environments connected with olive oil production have been recreated in the museum’s galleries. Lunch in a typical restaurant to sample some of the local specialties of Imperia, accompanied by some good local wine. Return in the early afternoon.

• Round trip transfer by train in economy class to Nice and Imperia from the chosen city of stay.
