The Gardens of the French Riviera

The Gardens of the French Riviera

A day to discover the natural treasures of the cosmopolitan French Riviera, visiting the famous botanical gardens of the Cote d’Azur.

In the morning transfer to Menton to visit the Val Rahmeh garden: created in 1905 by Lord Radcliffe, the garden now serves as an observatory on the Mediterranean for the French National Museum of Natural History, and houses a unique collection of exotic plants.

You can then continue from Cap Martin walking along one of the loveliest and least spoiled stretches of the French Riviera on a path that unwinds along the coast to the Principality of Monaco.

In the afternoon a visit to the Exotic Garden of Monte Carlo: magnificently situated along a rocky ledge overlooking the sea, with a breathtaking view. Thousands of cacti and other succulents thrive in this exceptional climate, which allows them to reach gigantic proportions, comparable to those  found in their countries of origin.
