The San Remo MTB Weekend is a great occasion to discover the wonderful landscapes of the Maritime Alps, a place unique in the world, where within a few kilometers you can move from the shores of the Ligurian Sea to mountain peaks of two thousand meters in altitude.

With our guides, experts in mountain bikes, you’ll  discover the valleys and the mountains that frame the Flower Riviera, enjoying the landscapes and the surrounding natural beauty, visiting thousand year old medieval villages and tasting  products typical of Ligurian cuisine.

After the first day of orientation to evaluate the level of training of the participants, the itineraries proposed in the program will be adapted according to the abilities of the group. The level of each stage  of each excursion will be indicated in the brochure.

Thursday – Arrival and cycle track

Arrival in the early afternoon in San Remo, and for the more enthusiastic, the possibility to do a brief training run on the beautiful cycle path that runs along the sea up to San Lorenzo. Accommodation at the Nyala Suite Hotel. Free dinner.  After dinner we suggest a peaceful evening walk along the illuminated streets of the city, or as an alternative you can try your luck at the games offered by the Casino. Return to hotel and overnight stay. 

Friday  - Mount Faudo

Along the Imperia side the first part of the climb winds on asphalt roads up to the church of St. Brigida, and beyond on a dirt road. You will have the possibility of  reaching  the summit where on clear days you can admire a breathtaking view (1149 m.). A visit to the “Casone dei Partigiani”. Descent in All-Mountain style by single track or by dirt roads.

Meeting point: Sferisterio Piani (IM) at 10:00, return scheduled for the afternoon.

Saturday  - Mount Nero

Of architectural interest, representing the crossroads of centers like Sasso, the Principality of Seborga and the historic center of Bordighera Alta. A visit to the Blancardi establishment of biodynamic wines. Impressive scenery along the sandy fire break trails,  where  you can capture beautiful glimpses of the panoramic sea view while surrounded by low vegetation. Conclusion with Cape Sant’Ampelio and the famous church.

Meeting point: Bordighera Alta at the long piazza Corso F. Rossi at 10:00, return in the afternoon

Sunday  - Departure

After a hearty breakfast, the morning is at your disposal to visit the wonders of San Remo, the old port, the magnificent gardens of Villa Ormonde and Villa Zirio, the famous Villa Nobel and the beautiful streets of the city. Departure for place of origin.

Lunches and dinners must be followed according to the daily menu or the tasting menu proposed by the chef. Beverages and à la carte food must be paid on site, except where otherwise indicated.
