Day 1

Arrival in the afternoon and check in to hotel. Dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2:  The gardens of San Remo and Bordighera

In the morning transfer to San Remo to visit the park of  the Villa Ormond, a magnificent botanical garden modeled after the French style of the late nineteenth century. The plants that fill the garden with color come from all over the world: from the Canary Islands to Japan, from Tasmania to China, and from California to Brazil.

You are free for lunch.

In the afternoon transfer to Bordighera: just before the Punta Migliarese tunnel there is a steep rocky slope overlooking the sea, with patches of land and terraces covered with beautiful plants. This is the Pallanca Exotic Garden, a spectacular natural monument built by the descendants of Bartholomew Pallanca. There are 3,200 species of plants, among which is their precious collection of cacti, the most important in Italy and one of the most outstanding in Europe.

Return to hotel, dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3:  The gardens of Menton

In the morning transfer to Menton to visit the Val Rahmeh garden: created in 1905 by Lord Radcliffe, it is now a Mediterranean observatory for the French National Museum of Natural History, and includes an exceptional collection of exotic plants.

You are free for lunch.

After lunch you can explore the lovely Serre de la Madone. Designed between 1919 and 1939 by Major Lawrence Johnston, the garden contains a unique botanical collection and is a notable example of landscape architecture with its lakes and fountains that create a calm and secluded atmosphere.

Return to hotel, dinner and overnight stay.

Day 4

In the morning, before departure, you can go shopping in one of the garden centers of the Riviera.
