The Riviera on Two Wheels

Our panoramic tours allow you to discover the wonderful scenery of the Riviera of Flowers, where the Sea Alps dive into the Ligurian Sea, by bicycle. The proposed tours are of course just a small example of the variety of routes that Western Liguria can offer in all  seasons of the year, with different levels of difficulty.

Arrival in the afternoon with check-in at your chosen hotel. Dinner at the hotel restaurant and free evening.

The tour that we propose for your first day unfolds along the Argentina Valley with departure and arrival in the City of Flowers, San Remo. The main stages are Arma di Taggia, Imperia, Pontedassio, Colle S.Bartolomeo, Colle d’Oggia, Carpasio and Taggia, which will enable you to witness in succession many of the spectacular sights of the inland area of the Riviera. The length of the course is 99 Km. There are two challenging hills: Pontedassio – Passo del Ginestro (from 80 m to 677 m above sea level) and Garlenda – Colle d’Oggia (from 70 m to 1207 m above sea level). Return to the hotel in the evening, dinner and overnight stay.

The tour that we suggest on this second day starts from Bordighera, then climbs up along asphalt and side roads to the ancient Principality of Seborga, going through marvelous mimosa groves. From there by means of an entertaining “eat and drink” single track you will reach the unpaved road of Monte Nero (Passo del Ronco), then afterwards climb up until reaching  first the path of the “bottazzi”  and then the path of the “cavalli” that leads to the heights of Ospedaletti. Departure in the afternoon.

Our offer includes:

• Settling into one of our hotels, double room, half board.
• Safe shelter for your bike and a map for your excursions.
• Upon request, agreements with custom services for bike riders are available (guides, massages, shops, etc.)

Our offer does not include:

• Round trips that are not included in “our offer includes”.
• Lunches and dinners are to be chosen from the menu of the day or the sampling menu offered by the chef. A la carte drinks or plates are to be paid on site.
• The suggested tours in the program are to be decided on freely, i.e. without the services of a guide.
