Riviera in Mountain Bike

A weekend dedicated to the mountain bike passionate, which will be able to try the hills of our hinterland measuring their strength and passion and will enjoy the splendid landscapes that can be seen from the mountains of the Riviera. The proposed tours are of course just a small example of the variety of routes that Western Liguria can offer in all the seasons of the year, with different levels of difficulty.

Arrival in the afternoon with check in at the chosen hotel. Dinner at the hotel restaurant and free evening.

Departure from Pigna, from which as first stage of your tour you will reach Castel Vittorio, a village immerged in the green of the meadows. From here you will reach Bajardo, a paradise among pine trees where the historical district dominates the basin of the Nervia river, offering the visitor the beauty of the Sea Alps. You will then prosecute towards Apricale, which name means “exposed at noon”, from the Latin word “Apricus”, an ancient and characteristic medieval fortified village that faces from a hill towards the Merdanzo Valley. On the way back the last stage is Isolabona: a village built as a chessboard among two rivers. To reach the village you will need to cross a bridge that after a small arch under the first houses it will lead to a small square where there is a fountain made in an octagonal shaped stone from 1486. Return to the hotel, dinner and overnight stay.

In the morning after breakfast, the second day of the tour will begin, which will start and end in Ventimiglia. The top of the escalade will be with the Grammondo mountain, which from the top of its 1376 m of altitude allows a marvelous view of Ventimiglia as well as Menton. Departure in the afternoon for your home town.

• Lunches and dinners are to be considered from the menu of the day or the sampling menu offered by the chef. A la carte drinks or plates are to be paid at the place.
• The suggested tours in the program are to be considered free, meaning without a guide.
