2nd day – Imperia, city of olive oil

Morning – transfer to Imperia to visit the Isnardi Company, which since 1908 has been bottling its extra-virgin olive oil directly from the press. Inside you will have the opportunity to see an historic olive oil mill, together with an ancient pharmacy with a rare collection of olive oil containers. Afterwards there will be a sampling of Ligurian specialties.

3rd day – Nervia Valley, land of the Rossese

Morning transfer to Dolceacqua, the pearl of the Nervia Valley: a delightful medieval village, made special by an ancient bridge and the ruins of the Doria castle. Here among artisan shops you can discover the true nectar of the Riviera: the Rossese of Dolceacqua, an extraordinary red wine with an intense flavor.

At lunch time, a visit to the cellar of the Gajaudo family, where you can taste the entire range of wines from the Riviera, accompanied by delicious specialties of the valley.

In the afternoon a visit to the ancient medieval village of Apricale, clinging to the mountain slopes with its narrow little streets, where you will taste the most traditional Ligurian snackzabaione (eggnog) with pansarole, small sweets covered with powdered sugar.

Return to the hotel, dinner and overnight stay.

4th day –  Imperia and its historic center

Morning transfer to Porto Maurizio, characterized by its old historic quarter situated on the Parasio hill, with the Piazza del Duomo, where the Palazzo del Collegio and the Palazzo della Questura are found.
