We offer you the opportunity to attend one of the most beautiful historical representations of  the Italian Riviera: the Festa di San Benedetto in Taggia. The commemoration of the battle won against the troops of Savoy, the historical parade and the typical medieval market surround you in a setting from the past!

3 DAYS – 2 NIGHTS

 

1^st day

Afternoon arrival at the hotel, dinner and overnight stay.

 

2^nd day: Medieval market and re-enactment of the great battle

In the morning transfer to Taggia to stroll through the quaint medieval market stalls,where you can buy products  typical of the valleys of the Riviera of Flowers.

You are free for lunch.

In the afternoon you will have the opportunity to attend the historical re-enactment of the great battle won against the ”savoiardi”  that was decisive for the liberation of Taggia.

Return to hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

 

3^rd day: The Historical Parade of San Benedetto

In the late morning the historical settings start, authentic living depictions of everyday life in the valley in the seventeenth century, which precede the performances of the guest groups, who will challenge each other with demonstrations and dances of the past.

Lunch at a typical restaurant to taste the specialties of the cuisine of Taggia.

In the afternoon there will be a classic historical parade in honor of St. Benedetto Revelli, patron saint of the town, where  over 500 local participants in costume will parade in front of the public.

At the end, back to the home destination.
