Valentine’s Day Romance on the Riviera

Spend Valentine’s weekend in San Remo, choosing the romance of  an area where the Alps wed the Mediterranean.

1^st day: Friday – San Remo

Afternoon arrival and transfer to hotel.

For your dinner, we will reserve a table for you in a romantic bistro in the old town, where you can taste the specialties of the ancient Ligurian cuisine, while after dinner you can chance your luck at the tables of the Casino of San Remo.

Return to your hotel, overnight stay.

 

2^nd day: Saturday - The magic of the Ligurian villages

For your lovebirds’ day, we suggest you visit Dolceacqua, where you can walk in the shade of the picturesque ruins of the castle of the Doria family, and on to the alleyways of the village.

At lunchtime you will be taken on a journey to sample the typical flavors of Liguria, with a tasting of wines and local specialties in a cozy wine bar in the historic center.

In the afternoon, your tour continues to Apricale, a typical village in a scenic location, in which a cascade of stone houses leads to  the castle of Lucertola  located at the summit.

On returning to the hotel, you’ll enjoy a candlelit dinner with live music and a menu with aphrodisiac dishes which will whet  your appetite in  the true spirit of Valentine’s Day!

Return to hotel and overnight stay.

 

3^rd day: Sunday – Sweetness of Nice

After breakfast, we invite you to finish your weekend on a sweet note with a visit to the ancient Confiserie Florian in Nice, where you can actually taste the sweetness of your weekend !  You can visit the workshop and afterwards taste the famous products of this transalpine confectionary company .

Return to home destination.

Our offer includes:

• Hotel accommodation in a luxury suite with room service, with breakfast served in your room.
• A dinner in a typical restaurant in San Remo.
• A candlelit dinner at the hotel.
• A tasting of typical products in Dolceacqua.
• An invitation to the Casino of San Remo.

 

The fee does not include:

• The round trip, local transfers, and all that is not included under “our offer includes”.
• Lunches and dinners are to be chosen according to the menu of the day or the tasting menu offered by the chef.  Drinks and a la carte dishes are to be paid on the spot.
• The visits suggested in the program should be considered free, or without a guide.
