PACKAGE TOUR Whale Watching in the Mediterranean (3 DAYS – 2 NIGHTS)

1st day

Arrival in the afternoon with check-in at your chosen hotel.

2nd day: Whale watching on the Ligurian Sea

In the morning, transfer to the Porto Vecchio of San Remo and departure for the excursion aboard a motorboat. An exciting sea voyage awaits you, lasting about 5 hours, allowing the discovery of whales and dolphins in their natural environment. The Pelagos Whale Sanctuary, a triangular area of sea adjacent to and protected by Italy, France and Corsica, has over the years become a very important resource for all enthusiasts of marine fauna.

Return to the hotel, dinner and overnight stay.

Whale watching excursions are subject to weather conditions of the sea and can be canceled at short notice. The excursion can be re-scheduled for another day, usually the following day, weather permitting. Alternatively you will have the chance to visit the great dolphinarium in Antibes.  

3rd day: Monte Carlo and the Oceanographic Museum

In the morning, transfer to the Principality of Monaco to visit the famous Oceanographic Museum. Founded in 1910 by Prince Albert I, this exceptional museum, dedicated to all the marine sciences, hosts several species of preserved marine animals, ship models and equipment used by the pioneers of ocean exploration.

The aquarium offers visitor a fascinating show of exuberant marine fauna and flora. Rare species of fish coming from the most remote seas frolic in 90 tanks directly filled with sea water. Afterwards you can continue your visit at the Rocca (the Rock), the historic old quarter of the Principality, where you can stroll around artisan shops and boutiques and visit the beautiful cathedral dedicated to Saint Nicolas, built in 1875 in white stone from the Turbie, and attend the traditional changing of the guard in front of the Prince’s Palace.

Our offer includes:

  • Hotel accommodation in double room, half board.
  • An excursion in a motorboat in search of the great whales.
  • Entrance to the Oceanographic Museum of Monte Carlo.
