Whale Watching in the Mediterranean

Come with us to discover the fauna of the seven seas and the history of their exploration through visiting marvelous aquariums and well documented museums, and also by sighting the great cetaceans of the Mediterranean in their natural habitat: the whale sanctuary.

3 DAYS – 2 NIGHT TOURIST PACKAGE

Arrival in the afternoon with check-in at the chosen hotel. Dinner at the hotel restaurant and free evening to try your luck at the gaming rooms of the San Remo Municipal Casino. Return to the hotel and overnight stay.

In the morning, transfer to the Porto Vecchio of San Remo and departure for the excursion aboard the Diana II motorboat. An exciting sea voyage awaits you, lasting 5 hours, allowing the discovery of whales, sperm whales and dolphins in their natural environment. The cetacean sanctuary, a triangular protected sea space between Italy, France and Corsica, has over the years become  a very important resource for all  marine fauna lovers. Return to the hotel, dinner and overnight stay.

In the morning, transfer to the Principality of Monaco to visit the famous Oceanographic Museum. Founded in 1910 by Prince Albert I, this exceptional museum, dedicated to all the marine sciences, hosts several species of preserved marine animals, ship models and equipment used by the pioneers of ocean exploration. The aquarium offers visitor a fascinating show of exuberant marine fauna and flora. Rare species of fish coming from the most remote seas frolic in 90 tanks directly filled with sea water. Afterwards you can continue your visit at the Rocca (the Rock), the ancient city of the Principality, where you can walk through artisan shops and other small shops and visit the beautiful cathedral dedicated to Saint Nicolas, built in 1875 in white stone from the Turbie, and attend the traditional changing of the guard in front of the Prince’s Palace. Departure in the afternoon.

The whale watching excursions are subject to seasonable and weather conditions.

• Entrance to the Oceanographic Museum of Montecarlo.

Our offer does not include:

• Round trips that are not included in “our offer includes”.
• Lunches and dinners are to be chosen from the menu of the day or the sampling menu offered by the chef. A la carte drinks or plates are to be paid on the spot.
• The suggested tours in the program are to be decided on freely, i.e. without the services of a guide.
