PACKAGE TOUR Culinary Specialties of Liguria and the Côte d’Azur (3 DAYS – 2 NIGHTS)
Arrival in the afternoon with check-in at hotel.
For your dinner we have reserved a table at one of the most prestigious restaurants of the location you have chosen for your hotel, where you will be able to sample the aromas and flavors of Ligurian cuisine.
Return to hotel, overnight stay.
2nd day – Nice and the gourmet trail on the Côte d’Azur
Transfer to Nice in the morning, where you can visit the Lascaris Palace, built in 1648 in Genovese Baroque style by the Lascaris-Ventimille family, with a beautiful façade consisting of balconies and balustrades decorated with garlands of flowers. Not to be missed is the famous Promenade des Anglais, the Place Massena and Saleya Boulevard with its typical bistros.
You are free at lunch to taste specialties from the cuisine of Nice, with the suggestion that you visit the legendary Café de Turin in place Garibaldi, temple of sea food and oysters.
In the afternoon we invite you to continue on to the port area of Nice to visit Confiserie Florian to find out about the production of specialties from the south of France: you will see how fruit and flowers are transformed into real gourmet treats, and also how they make the chocolates and sweets that are the essence of Provence.
Return to the hotel, dinner and overnight stay.
3rd day – Imperia, city of olive oil
Transfer to Imperia in the morning to visit the Museo dell’Olivo (Olive Museum) belonging to the Carli Brothers Company. Unique both for its originality and its contents this museum celebrates the symbolic and cultural value of the most ancient tree cultivated by man. Proceeding through six thousand years of history of Mediterranean civilization, typical environments connected with olive oil production have been recreated in the museum’s galleries.
You are free for lunch in a typical local restaurant to sample some of the local specialties of Imperia, accompanied by some good local wine.
Departure in the early afternoon.
