1st day: arrival in San Remo

Arrival in San Remo and transfer to your hotel.
Check-in and receive local map and brochures.

In the afternoon you can explore the city of San Remo with its Belle Epoque monuments, such as the Passeggiata Imperatrice (Empress Promenade),  the Russian church, the Casino and the beautiful streets of the historic center, full of exclusive boutiques.

2nd day: the Flower Riviera from San Remo to Alassio

After breakfast departure for Alassio, an easy route, about a hundred kilometers along the coast: San Remo – Arma di Taggia – San Lorenzo al Mare – Imperia – Diano Marina – Andora – Alassio, and return with the possibility to climb Cipressa and Poggio, the two legendary hills associated with the Spring Classic (Classicissima) Milan-San Remo.

3rd day: the Riviera from San Remo to Monte Carlo

After breakfast departure for the French Riviera, crossing Ospedaletti, Bordighera, Ventimiglia, Mentone up to La Turbie to admire the ” Trofeo delle Alpi” (Trophy of the Alps), the monument erected by Augustus Caesar, and the beautiful panorama of the Principality of Monaco: a delightful route, quite easy, with breathtaking scenery.

4th day: Pigna

After breakfast departure for the discovery of the valleys and villages of the inland countryside: from San Remo you’ll proceed along the coast up to Bordighera and from there follow the Nervia Valley towards Dolceacqua, Isolabona, and then up to Pigna, and return by retracing the same route.

5th day – Monday: free day

After a day in the Maritime Alps, you deserve a day free to rest and to get to know San Remo a bit better, discovering 19th century villas and gardens such as the outstanding Villa Nobel, last residence of the great scientist. You can also lose yourself among the picturesque alleys of the medieval city known as La Pigna, in San Remo, or visit Bussana Vecchia, a village that was almost destroyed by an earthquake in 1887, and has since famous as artists’ colony. On this day you can also rent a mountain bike and try the paths of the Natural Park of Mount Bignone that surround the city of San Remo.

6th day – Tuesday: Giro della ‘Bastera’

After breakfast departure from San Remo towards Arma di Taggia, after which you’ll cross San Lorenzo al Mare (this part of the itinerary can all be done on a cycle path). From Via Aurelia you turn towards Piani to climb up to Dolcedo, skirting the banks of the Prino. From Dolcedo you descend on country road 41 and climb country road 40, where the most daring can reach Vasia. Return to San Remo is along the same route.

7th day – Wednesday: the Valle Argentina

After breakfast departure you pedal along the coast up to Arma di Taggia; from here you’ll continue inland towards Badalucco and Molini di Triora.  Anyone who wants to try it can take the additional path up to Triora, the town of the witches, where you can visit the Museum of Witchcraft and taste some typical products of the valley.

8th day – Thursay: departure

End of services and departure.
